Locomotive stanche, carrozze ammaccate: le Officine Grandi Riparazioni di Porta al Prato erano l\u2019ospedale della ferrovia, a due passi dalla Leopolda, la prima stazione di Firenze. Otto ettari tra le Cascine, San Jacopino e la Manifattura Tabacchi, oggi inaccessibili.<\/p>\n<p>Nel 2020, quando le Ferrovie misero l\u2019area in vendita, un titolo annunciava: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gonews.it\/2020\/10\/20\/lex-ogr-di-porta-al-prato-sara-polo-culturale-presentato-il-bando-di-gara-per-la-vendita\/amp\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00absar\u00e0 polo culturale\u00bb<\/a>. Un anno dopo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuoribinario.org\/index.php\/2026\/10\/22\/__trashed-63\/?numero=231\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la Comunit\u00e0 delle Piagge proponeva<\/a> di metterci il deposito della tramvia, senza consumare un metro di suolo in pi\u00f9. Non se ne fece niente. Il 23 dicembre 2022, l\u2019antivigilia di Natale, l\u2019area \u00e8 passata a un privato, la Flora Development: lo <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuoribinario.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/91842-20250124_VerbCdSDecisoria_Integrazioni_PdC_ExOGR_FI285_signed.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">mettono a verbale gli uffici del Comune<\/a>. Il percorso di <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palagixfirenze.it\/ex-ogr-la-partecipazione-non-puo-essere-un-fatto-privato-dallalto-verso-il-basso\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00abinformazione partecipata\u00bb<\/a> che il Comune ha annunciato in agosto, secondo i quotidiani, lo paga la stessa societ\u00e0 che vuole costruire. Salviamo Firenze X Viverci, che promuove la campagna, ha fatto un\u2019altra cosa: ha chiesto alla citt\u00e0. Hanno risposto in 1.118.<\/p>\n<div class=\"fbogr-numeri\">\n<div><span class=\"fbogr-n\">30<\/span><span class=\"fbogr-d\">i \u00abportatori di interesse\u00bb che la propriet\u00e0 dice di voler ascoltare<\/span><\/div>\n<div><span class=\"fbogr-n fbogr-acc\">1.118<\/span><span class=\"fbogr-d\">le persone che hanno risposto al questionario<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Non \u00e8 un sondaggio, e chi l\u2019ha promosso lo dice per primo: ha risposto chi ha voluto, e i numeri descrivono loro, non tutta Firenze. Ma dalle risposte esce un elenco che pare scritto da chi la citt\u00e0 la gira a piedi.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"fbogr-cap\" id=\"fbogr-cap3\">\n<h2><span class=\"fbogr-num\">3<\/span> Un posto dove stare<\/h2>\n<p>Il verde prima di tutto, e non c\u2019\u00e8 da stupirsi: pi\u00f9 di tre su quattro chiedono pi\u00f9 alberi. Subito dopo, per\u00f2, viene una richiesta meno scontata. Uno su due vuole spazi \u00abper stare, incontrarsi e socializzare\u00bb: pi\u00f9 della cultura, pi\u00f9 delle piste ciclabili, pi\u00f9 dello sport.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"fbogr-fig\" role=\"group\" Ma quando bisogna sceglierne una sola, di funzione, passano davanti le associazioni: sale per incontrarsi, servizi, iniziative di comunit\u00e0. Per chi passa le giornate all\u2019aperto \u00e8 un\u2019altra cosa: un posto dove non svenire, una fontanella da cui bere, una notte un po\u2019 meno calda.<\/p>\n<p>Quest\u2019estate il Comune ha indicato <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/cittadifirenzeufficiale\/posts\/pfbid0gMgiJkkPg5bA4h2og5osrjVR3PASgzm7qxycCPbnDTQZ7ydwzSwsr7b2p4a3dpd2l\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">53 \u00abrifugi climatici\u00bb<\/a>: parchi, biblioteche, edifici pubblici che c\u2019erano gi\u00e0, con gli orari di sempre. Le stesse che nell\u2019autunno 2024, dopo il Comitato per l\u2019ordine e la sicurezza pubblica del 30 settembre, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fuoribinario.org\/index.php\/2026\/10\/22\/__trashed-63\/?numero=270\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">la Prefettura aveva incluso<\/a>, con la Fortezza e la stazione, tra le zone dove chi tiene \u00abcondotte aggressive\u00bb <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palagixfirenze.it\/ordinanza-della-prefettura-una-ricetta-vecchia-e-sbagliata\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">non pu\u00f2 fermarsi<\/a>. Una mozione per chiedere di ritirare quei divieti <a href=\"https:\/\/www.palagixfirenze.it\/atti\/2024-moz-751-contrarieta-divieti-di-stazionamento\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u00e8 stata respinta<\/a> dal Consiglio comunale nel marzo 2025. Rifugio per alcuni, zona vietata per altri.<\/p>\n<p>E l\u2019area accanto? Paolo Desideri, l\u2019architetto che la progetta per il fondo lussemburghese Ginkgo 3, al Corriere Fiorentino ha spiegato che il progetto ancora non c\u2019\u00e8: le destinazioni del piano sono solo \u00ablimiti massimi\u00bb, e a parte il parco e le case sociali \u00abil resto \u00e8 tutto da decidere\u00bb. Poi ha chiuso cos\u00ec: l\u2019alternativa a un patto tra pubblico e privato sarebbe \u00abaltri 50 anni di degrado, amianto, spaccio e criminalit\u00e0\u00bb.<\/p>\n<p>Nella stessa intervista chi critica il progetto diventa un umarell, anzi peggio: \u00abumarells incompetenti e massimalisti che spiano dal buco della serratura\u00bb. Per forza, verrebbe da dire: l\u2019area \u00e8 chiusa. L\u2019umarell, il pensionato che segue i cantieri con le mani dietro la schiena, avr\u00e0 di che vedere.
